Hello everybody, here are the details of this year’s mission trip at a glance:
Ministry:                     Mississippi Baptist Children’s Village          
Address:                      491 Dickerson Place, Brookhaven, MS
Scope of work:            Frame and get the outside of a home ready for brick and do rough electrical
Dates:                          May 28-June 5
Housing:                     On site at BCV and at Harmony Baptist Church
                                    There are campgrounds nearby
Cost for meals:            $20 per child up to 12 years old
                                    $65 per person over 12 years old
                                    Meals will begin May 28 am and end June 5 at lunch

The boys’ home on this campus has been retired due to foundation issues, so there are no boys there now. This new house will enable the BCV to once again minister to boys in need at this campus. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE WORK-SITE AHEAD OF TIME. VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE MINORS ON CAMPUS.    
           
If you are coming, please mail or bring a check for your meals made out to “Builders for Christ”. The mailing address is at the end of the housing form.

If you are new to Builders for Christ or if your medical condition has changed, please complete a Medical Form in case an emergency arises. If you have previously completed the medical form and there are no changes, your form is still on file.  Print out and bring the completed medical forms with you (if needed). There is a link to the medical form at the bottom of this page.

FILL OUT THE REGISTRATION FORM ASAP.  
Scott and Tracy Sherman will be putting together a housing plan in advance so if you want to be included in that plan.  There is a link at the bottom of this page for you to click on and fill out the Registration form.

We will be cooking and eating breakfast and supper at Harmony Baptist Church. If you will be staying at home and coming and going, please complete the Registration Form indicating which meals you will eat with the team so we will know how much food to prepare.
           
If you are bringing a camper the following is a list of campgrounds you may contact:
The Hideaway Venue is  right down the road fr9m Harmony BC where we will cook and the Children's village.

Remember that our conduct and attire are a witness to the community we will be serving and to each other. Please act and dress in such a way that God is glorified and so that no one is caused to stumble.

                        that God will enable everything to be ready for our arrival
                        that God will provide opportunities for us to witness while we are there
                        that God will prepare the hearts of those we will encounter to hear the gospel
                        that we will be ready to take the opportunities He presents
                        that God will provide good weather while we are there
                        for safe travel for everyone and a safe week while there
