Day 1: When Problems Arise in the Church
Reading: Acts 6:1-7
The early church faced a critical moment when cultural divisions threatened their unity. The Hellenist widows were being overlooked, and murmuring began to spread. Yet this passage reveals God's redemptive pattern: problems don't disqualify us from His purposes; how we handle them determines our trajectory. Notice the apostles didn't ignore the complaint or handle it privately. They gathered the whole church, addressed it transparently, and sought a Spirit-led solution. When conflicts arise in your church or relationships, resist the temptation to whisper and complain. Instead, bring issues into the light with humility and wisdom. God often uses our problems to reveal His greater purposes and deepen our dependence on Him.
