Reading: 1 John 5:11-12; Ephesians 2:8-10

Grace saves us, but grace also transforms us. The same God who gave us eternal life in His Son created us for good works prepared beforehand. This isn't about earning salvation—it's about living out our identity as His workmanship. Jesus left heaven's glory, became a helpless baby, lived in poverty, served as a slave, suffered brutality, and bore His Father's wrath—all for us. How can we respond with anything less than wholehearted devotion? We're saved by grace through faith, not by works, yet we're saved unto good works. Today, consider what "good works" God has prepared for you. Are you eagerly looking for opportunities to serve, or passively waiting? Let Christ's sacrifice ignite a burning anticipation to live for Him.
