Reading: 2 Kings 23:25; Philippians 2:5-11
Devotional:
Josiah turned to the Lord with all his heart, soul, and might—holding nothing back. This wasn't a convenient, Sunday-morning faith but a complete surrender to God. Christ demonstrated this same wholehearted devotion when He emptied Himself and became obedient to death on a cross. He was sold out for you. The question confronting us today is whether we'll offer Him the same in return. Popular Christianity operates on mild enthusiasm and partial obedience, but God is searching for those whose hearts are completely His. What leftover time, energy, or money are you offering God instead of your best? Today, examine where you're holding back and surrender those areas fully to the One who held nothing back from you.
