Passion for Christ - Day 3: Persecution's Unexpected Purpose

Day 3: Persecution's Unexpected Purpose
Reading: Acts 8:4-8; Acts 1:8

Devotional:
God's ways confound human wisdom. The early church clung to Jerusalem's comfort until persecution scattered them like seeds across Judea and Samaria—exactly where Jesus said they'd go. What seemed like disaster became divine strategy. Believers didn't scatter silently; they evangelized everywhere, turning tragedy into triumph. Philip preached Christ in Samaria with such power that entire cities experienced joy. When you face trials that uproot your plans, remember: God may be repositioning you for greater impact. Like embers scattered from a fire, persecution ignited new flames of faith across regions. Your hardship might be heaven's method of propelling you into ministry you'd never have chosen but desperately needed. Don't waste your wilderness. Let God use it to spread His gospel through you.
