Reading: Ephesians 4:29; Philippians 2:14-15

Paul commands us to let no corrupt word proceed from our mouths, but only what is good for necessary edification that imparts grace to hearers. This isn't about being fake or superficial—it's about being intentional with our speech. In a world filled with complaining, criticism, and negativity, Christians are called to do all things without grumbling and disputing. Why? So we become blameless children of God who shine as lights in a crooked generation. Your words have power to build up or tear down. They can impart grace or spread poison. Today, make a conscious decision about your speech. Before you speak, ask: Will this edify? Will this impart grace? Will this encourage someone toward Jesus? Your commitment to speak life will set you apart and draw others toward the hope you carry.
