Occasionally God taps a person on the shoulder, and their response changes their life forever. Occasionally God hits the reset button on a church, and their response changes the church forever. The believers in Acts 11 were at such a moment. Persecution scattered them, but they responded by speaking about Jesus. Barnabas was tapped to join the work, and he responded by dropping everything. The church at Antioch responded to encouragement by continuing with the Lord. Each response multiplied God's work. Today, God may be tapping your shoulder. Perhaps through a sermon, a conversation, or this devotional. How will you respond? Will you tell someone about Jesus? Will you join where God is working? Will you encourage others with purpose?
