An Antidote for Despair - Day 3: Ponder His Forgiveness and Healing

Day 3: Ponder His Forgiveness and Healing
Reading: Colossians 2:13-14; Psalm 32:3-5; Psalm 147:3

Devotional:
God has forgiven ALL your iniquities—not some, not many, but all. The record of debt has been nailed to the cross, completely canceled like a Queen's Pardon that erases every crime. This isn't just legal forgiveness; God also heals all your diseases. When we keep silent about our sin, our bones grow old, but confession brings healing to our broken hearts. The guilt and shame that drive despair have been fully addressed at Calvary. The Accuser may whisper "guilty," but you have written proof of the King's Pardon. Let this truth be the pill that cures anxiety, guilt, and shame.

Reflection Question:
What sin or shame are you holding onto that Christ has already forgiven?

Closing Challenge:

This week, practice Psalm 18:1-3 as your daily declaration. Write it down, memorize it, and speak it over your life. Don't just listen to your heart—preach to it. Remind yourself of God's character, His promises, and His benefits. Defy despair by choosing intentional, wholehearted praise. The antidote for despair isn't found in changed circumstances but in contemplating an unchanging God.
