Mary was an ordinary young woman from an insignificant town, yet God chose her for an extraordinary purpose. Her response reveals the secret to lasting joy: "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior." Mary didn't focus on the challenges ahead—the questions, the judgment, the uncertainty. Instead, she fixed her eyes on God's faithfulness. Like Mary, you may feel ordinary or inadequate for what God has called you to do. But joy comes not from our qualifications, but from recognizing that God is with us. He chooses the ordinary to accomplish the miraculous. Today, magnify the Lord by trusting His plan for your life, even when it doesn't make sense.
