Rejoicing in Emmanuel - Day 3: Emmanuel—God With Us

Day 3: Emmanuel—God With Us
Reading: Matthew 1:18-23; John 1:1-5, 14

Devotional:
Emmanuel means "God with us"—the most radical promise ever made. The Creator of the universe didn't remain distant; He entered our world as a vulnerable baby. Jesus is God incarnate, walking among us, experiencing our joys and sorrows. He calmed storms, healed diseases, and raised the dead because He is God. Yet He also wept, felt hunger, and experienced rejection because He became fully human. This dual nature means Jesus understands your struggles intimately while possessing divine power to help you through them. You are never alone. In your darkest moments, your greatest victories, your mundane routines—Emmanuel is there. The God who spoke galaxies into existence chose to dwell with you. Let this truth transform how you face today.

Reflection Question: Where do you need to experience God's presence most right now?
