Rejoicing in Emmanuel - Day 4: The King Who Came to Save

Day 4: The King Who Came to Save
Reading: Isaiah 53:3-6; Luke 19:10; John 18:33-37

Devotional:
Jesus existed from everlasting, yet He chose to be born. His birth was purposeful, planned before time began. He came with a mission: to seek and save the lost. We were spiritually dead, separated from God by sin, destined for eternal separation. But God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Jesus, the King of Kings, took our place. He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him. This wasn't a cosmic accident—it was divine love in action. The Baby in the manger became the Man on the cross, purchasing your pardon with His own blood. Salvation isn't earned through good works; it's received through faith in what He accomplished. Rejoice today—your Redeemer has come.

Reflection Question: Have you personally received Jesus as your Savior? If so, who needs to hear this good news from you?
