The Unstoppable Church - Day 2: Fearing God Above All

Day 2: Fearing God Above All
Reading: Acts 5:26-32

"We must obey God rather than men." These words from Peter echo through the centuries as a rallying cry for authentic faith. The apostles faced powerful religious authorities who demanded their silence, yet they chose divine approval over human acceptance. This wasn't reckless defiance—it was holy conviction. When earthly authorities contradict God's clear commands, we face a choice: whose opinion matters most? The apostles understood that fearing God means we need not fear anyone else. The Holy Spirit empowered them to stand firm, just as He empowers us today. Where are you tempted to compromise your witness to avoid conflict or rejection? Remember, you serve an audience of One. His pleasure is worth any earthly disapproval.
