Unity in the Body of Christ - Day 3: Spirit-Led Qualifications

Day 3: Spirit-Led Qualifications
Reading: 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Acts 6:3-6

The early church didn't choose leaders based on business acumen or natural talent alone. They sought men with good reputations, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom. Notice these were spiritual qualifications for a seemingly practical task—serving food to widows. This reveals a profound truth: every role in God's kingdom requires spiritual maturity. The church needed people already walking in the Spirit, not positions to grow into. As you serve in your church or community, prioritize your relationship with the Holy Spirit above your skills. Yield to His leading daily. Seek wisdom that applies knowledge rightly. Build a reputation marked by moral goodness. God doesn't need your talent as much as He desires your availability and spiritual depth.
