A Life Fully Surrendered - Day 5: Willing to Give All

Day 5: Willing to Give All
Reading: Acts 6:8-15; 7:51-60; Matthew 5:16

Devotional:
Ruth Bell Graham prayed as a child to die as a martyr before year's end. While her sister thought it dreadful, Ruth grasped a profound truth: following Jesus means being willing to give all. Stephen understood this. He was unwavering even facing execution, never achieving worldly success, yet hearing "Well done, good and faithful servant."

That is the true measure of life—not comfort, wealth, or recognition, but faithfulness. Jesus calls us to be living sacrifices, letting our light shine so others glorify our Father in heaven. This doesn't mean praying for death, but being so resolved to live for Jesus that we're willing to surrender everything.

Are you living an "out and out" Christianity, or a weak, uncertain faith? The crowning day is coming. The privilege of confessing Christ is worth any temporary cost.

Application:
Write down what you're holding back from God. Surrender it completely, declaring your willingness to give all for Christ. Live today as a visible expression of invisible faith.
