Day 1: The Danger of Misplaced Passion
Reading: Acts 8:1-3; Galatians 1:13-14

Saul's story reminds us that sincerity doesn't equal righteousness. He was passionately devoted to his traditions, yet his zeal led him to fight against Jesus Himself. When Christ confronted him, asking "Why are you persecuting ME?" Saul discovered that attacks on God's people are personal to Jesus. Today, examine where your passion lies. Are you defending traditions over truth? Fighting for preferences over principles? Misplaced passion, no matter how sincere, can lead us astray. The question isn't whether we're passionate, but whether our passion aligns with Christ's heart. Before investing your energy, ensure you're fighting for Jesus, not against Him. Ask God to redirect any misplaced zeal toward His eternal purposes.
