A Life Fully Surrendered - Day 3: Grace Extended, Even to Enemies

Day 3: Grace Extended, Even to Enemies
Reading: Acts 6:8; James 1:5; Acts 7:59-60

Devotional:
Stephen was full of grace. He lived in God's sufficient grace and extended it even to his murderers, praying for their forgiveness as they stoned him. This mirrors Christ's prayer from the cross.

Grace isn't just receiving God's unmerited favor; it's extending that same favor to others who don't deserve it. It's navigating difficult situations with wisdom from above, not earthly intelligence. It's answering objections to the Gospel with patience rather than anger.

Living in grace means recognizing that apart from God's mercy, we too would be lost. The persecutors throwing stones at Stephen were no different from us before Christ transformed us. When we grasp how much we've been forgiven, extending grace becomes natural.

Application:
Who in your life needs grace today? Someone who has wronged you? Pray for them specifically, asking God to bless them and draw them to Himself.
