Stephen began his defense by pointing to the "God of glory" who appeared to Abraham. This wasn't merely academic knowledge; it was a declaration of God's supreme authority and active presence throughout history. Like Abraham, we are called to recognize that God moves through history to accomplish His purposes. When facing opposition or uncertainty, remember that the same God who called Abraham from Ur, who promised what seemed impossible, is working in your life today. Reflect on where you've seen God's sovereign hand guiding your journey. Are you willing to trust His promises even when circumstances seem contrary? Sanctify the Lord in your heart today, acknowledging His glory above all else.
