Day 5: Two Responses to the Holy Spirit
Reading: Acts 7:51-60; Hebrews 3:7-15

Stephen's story presents two radically different responses to the Holy Spirit. The religious leaders resisted: they ignored conviction, silenced truth-tellers, and rejected Jesus. Stephen yielded: he testified boldly, maintained his vision of Jesus, and forgave his enemies.
Every day, we choose between these paths. Will we resist the Spirit's conviction or embrace it? Will we silence uncomfortable truth or speak it in love? Will we harden our hearts or keep them tender toward God?
The Spirit-filled life isn't about perfection—it's about responsiveness. It's seeing Jesus standing with you and being unable to keep quiet. It's glorifying Him even when it costs you everything. It's exemplifying His character in both triumph and tragedy.
The question isn't whether the Holy Spirit is speaking. He is. The question is: are you listening?
