Before the explosive growth of the early church, the disciples devoted themselves to prayer for ten days. This wasn't a last resort or crisis response—it was their first order of business. Prayer positioned them for Pentecost and the thousands who came to faith. Today, we often treat prayer as something tacked on after our strategies and efforts fail. God calls us to make intercession our primary ministry, not our backup plan. When we prioritize prayer for the lost, we align ourselves with God's heart—His desire that all people come to salvation and knowledge of truth.
