Lives Changed by Christ - Day 2: All Glory Belongs to Jesus

Day 2: All Glory Belongs to Jesus
Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; Acts 9:34

Devotional:
Notice Peter's careful words: "Jesus the Christ heals you"—not "I heal you." In an age of celebrity Christianity and self-promotion, Peter's humility stands as a powerful corrective. He understood that he was merely a vessel, a conduit for Christ's power. Our faith must rest in God's power, not human wisdom or charisma. When we witness God work through us, the temptation is to claim credit or build our own platform. But every healing, every transformation, every miracle points beyond us to Jesus. What can Jesus not do? Nothing. But what can we do without Him? Nothing of eternal value. Today, examine your heart: Are you building your kingdom or His? True ministry deflects glory upward, ensuring that faith rests in God's power alone.

How do I point others to Christ? I got up this morning thinking about the path that I would have chosen for my life. It looked nothing like where I am at now. God had chosen a different path, a path that I had to be totally dependent on Him. When I look at where God has brought me, all I can say, is this is truly God. I never dreamed in a million years that I would serve in law enforcement. But I have to say, that my heart has peace no matter what is going on. I truly believe that God puts us in places so that we have to rely on His strength and power, so that we cannot say we did it in our own.

nI think about Moses, who told God I am unqualified, I cannot speak in public. For every excuse Moses gave, God gave him his solution.

nI know for me, the hardest part is trusting God while I wait. Trusting the next step, going without knowing where and learning to worship and serve while God is working.

nI want to see the end results, without having to do the preparation. True faith is when God says I am sending the rain, and you go prepare the fields without seeing a cloud in sight.

I know God has got my life and situation because of all he has helped me through and Im going through trusting him more than I ever have as he prepares me and those in my life . Trusting, believing, and standing on his word is what he requires of me. He will guide and direct me . Praising him even when I dont understand. Most of the time I don't understand. Thank
