When Paul arrived in Jerusalem, the disciples feared him—understandably so, given his history. They couldn't believe the change was real. Enter Barnabas, whose name means "son of encouragement." He testified to Paul's dramatic conversion and bold preaching, opening doors that fear had closed. Your testimony matters. It's the bridge between your past and God's future for you. It validates the reality of transformation and gives others courage to trust what God is doing. Paul needed someone to vouch for his change; you may need to be that person for someone else. Don't underestimate the power of speaking up for those God is transforming. Your willingness to testify about God's work—in your life or another's—can unlock ministry opportunities and build Kingdom community.
