Day 1: Freedom Begins with Abiding
Reading: John 8:31-32; Joshua 1:7-8

Devotional:
True discipleship isn't passive agreement with Jesus—it's active integration of His Word into every aspect of life. The condition Jesus gives is clear: "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed." This means more than Sunday morning exposure; it means saturating yourself in Scripture, adjusting your life to its truth, and making God's Word your operational base. Like breathing, it must be constant. Joshua was commanded to meditate day and night, not for academic knowledge, but for obedient living. Freedom doesn't come from casual acquaintance with truth—it comes from dwelling in it. This week, ask yourself: Am I a resident in God's Word, or just a visitor?
