Reading: Acts 12:12-17
Devotional:
The church was gathered, praying fervently for Peter's release. When the answer to their prayer knocked on the front door, they told the servant girl she was out of her mind. They had prayed with intensity but had not fully prepared their hearts for the answer. This is not a story of shameful failure but of honest human faith. God answered their prayer despite their limited expectation. Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God is able to do far beyond what we ask or imagine. He is not limited by the ceiling of our faith. Pray boldly, but do not be surprised when God exceeds your request entirely.
