Day 3: Courage When the Room Turns Cold
Reading: Ephesians 6:19-20; 2 Timothy 1:7-8
Devotional:
Paul and Barnabas did not leave Iconium the moment opposition appeared. They stayed longer, and they spoke more boldly. Courage in ministry is not the absence of fear. It is the decision to speak faithfully in the presence of fear because the message is true and the people need to hear it. Paul himself asked for prayer that he would open his mouth boldly, which tells us that even the most seasoned ministers feel the weight of opposition. God has not given us a spirit of fear. He has given us power, love, and a sound mind. These are the resources available to every believer who chooses to speak when silence feels safer.

Is there someone in your life who needs to hear the gospel, but fear of rejection, awkwardness, or conflict has kept you silent?
Practical Application:
Write down the name of one person you have been hesitant to speak to about your faith. Pray for boldness and one open opportunity this week, then take it when it comes.
