Day 2: Faith That Moves the Impossible
Reading: Acts 14:9-10; Mark 2:17

Paul looked at the man in Lystra and saw something remarkable: faith. And in response to that faith, the impossible became immediate. The man did not gradually improve. He did not work his way toward walking. He leaped. This is a picture of what salvation looks like. It is not a slow moral improvement program. It is not a gradual accumulation of better decisions. It is a miracle. Mark 2:17 reminds us that Jesus did not come for those who believe they are spiritually well. He came for those who know they are sick. Faith is not confidence in your own ability to recover. Faith is confidence in the One who heals what you cannot heal yourself. Where are you placing your confidence today?
